How to Sell Anything by Book

When we think or talk about Selling what comes to mind is to sell to do the pushing part of sales the hard thing to do but let me cut it for you....

Selling is a process of 

  1. identifying and Selecting the right customer or prospect
  2. Presentation or impression
  3. Negotiation and Objection Handling 
  4. Closing    
This is it the sale is made, in the books this is the selling. 
But i bet you didn't get the idea right so let me tell you in detail what is exactly selling with an example. 
Product description: A SUV car with 4*4 engine from XYZ motors available in 4colors can be delivered in 1 month waiting period. 

identifying the right customer of prospect: 
So we have the Sport Utility Vehicle who can be the customers for it the one who are adventures one who likes to challenge the convention, people who are outgoung and want to explore the challenge which would reflect in the Marketing Campaign of the Company
Here are the question you ask to decide the prospect: 
Do you like outdoor sports?   Y
Do you enjoy going for road trips? Y
Do you want luxury or adventure or Both? 

Asking the right question is as important in selling as important it is to tell the right things to make the sell take place. 

Presentation or impression:
You are most likely to understand it if you have ever set in for a interview or have given a presentation, the idea of presentation is to convince the viewer or the audience to believe in what you believe in, to logical but let me break it down the best presentation there is are the one's where the presentor believes in what he is saying or are the ones in which he is able to convince the audience what he is talking about.
In our example we have a car for the right customer in front of us now while presenting we should be smart enough to convince the customer this is it. 

Negotiations and Objection Handling:
Even the best presentation in the world aren't taken the way they should be, so what we have now the objections the question about featured of the car and you have to answer them satisfactorily or in some cases it will move to the next stage the negotiation part where you make the adjustment based on your objectives to make the sale 

Closing: 
I bet you heard the oneliner "Best closer this city has ever seen" If not I love it for a reason the best thing to do is to close the situation and write the order receipt, in our example the closing is to ask cidtomer to buy the best SUV for the time in the world and value they have been looking for in the car. 
Closing is the most important part of any Sales pitch it's the offer you have the click to buy button in green is the closing. 

Now we have gone through all the basic aspects of selling one more thing about selling which I can say from my personal experience is that believe in what you are selling or know your product which is secondary bit the customer of looking for value and you are there to deliver just that.
